Large Employers' Approach to Tobacco and Vaping in 2019
The purpose of this survey was to determine how large employers approach tobacco and vaping through policies, incentives/surcharges and communications. Sixty-three members of the Business Group responded to this survey, although the number may vary from question to question.

The Evolution of CVS Health’s Smoking Cessation Strategy
CVS transformed its approach to smoking cessation in 2014, ending the sale of tobacco products in its stores and researching new ways to incentivize its own members to quite tobacco for good. Nearly 70% of adult smokers in the U.S. want to quit and the majority of large employers offer smoking cessation programs. 44% of those offering programs are using rewards or penalties. This policy brief provides details concerning HIPAA, the Americans with Disabilities Act, nondiscrimination rules for cafeteria plans and self-insured medical plans, health savings accounts, spouses and dependents, and state laws.
