The Business Group’s Well-being & Workforce Strategy initiatives address employee and family well-being broadly. Employers of all types and sizes increasingly take a holistic view of well-being at home and at work, a view that recognizes the importance of mental and emotional health, financial security, social and community connection and job satisfaction, in addition to physical health. Family well-being, particularly the ability to take leave and to work flexibly, as job requirements permit, is a particular focus today. On the rise: expanded leave policies to support families around predictable as well as unplanned life events.
A survey of Business Group member companies in 2018 showed:
